He travelled in the Indian sub continents for 2 years during travelling he came to the Punjab Region he seen something there, it was the structure of  ancient houses after some research he came across that it were ruins of unknown ancient city Harappa Civilization.

The Ruins of Harappa Civilization

Harappa civilization is also know as Indus valley because it was located near Indus river. after James Lewis research, 100 years later in 1920s some more information was revealed in front of world. When the John Marshall becamed the director journal of ASI ( Archaeology survey of India ). With the help of Indian Archaeologist he came to conclusion that the ruins of Harappa civilization was old approximately 5000 years.

At that time one place was found at the bank of Indus valley which was also a historical site that is Mohenjo - Daro this place was the one main city of Indus valley civilization which contains many remains of human skeleton. after that many historical sites are found near the Indus Valley like Harappa, Mohanjo Daro, Ganeriwala, now is in Pakistan and Dholavira, Kalibagan, Rakhigarhi, Rupar and Lothal now in India. THE UNIQUE ASPECTS OF INDUS VALLEY CIVILIZATION

1. Is it possible to have flashable toilet in such ancient civilization ?
2. Is there anything we learn from today's civilization ?
3. Why there have never been wars in this civilization ?

let's see the answers of our question and understand the unique aspects of Indus Valley.

 Answer of first question

Yes, It is possible because in Indus Valley Civilization the drainage system was available as well as the sitting place were also there we get the perfect ruins of the sitting system where people use flashable toilets. In that sitting place the put water in the whole and by the pipe type are all dirt water were come out and the pipes area are connected by the road and through there it went out the city. so it is possible. It is also the proof of that the Harappa Civilization or Indus Valley civilization was to modern as compare to that time.

Answer of second question

Yes, It is possible we know that 16 Annas =1 rupee it was our conversion rate and it was also used in Harappa Civilization not only this but also the weight system 16 units =1  were also used in Harappa Civilization which is use in India also. Smallest weight is 0.8 GMS  next is 1.7 gm followed by 3,4,6,8  and 13.6 gm respectively in the ratio 1:2:4:8:16 and also the potery utensils and sills are also standarise.

Answer of third question

Because, the main reason behind war is Territorial expansion, Economic interests, Religious differences, Revenge and retliation are the common reason behind the wars in ancient Civilizations. but in harappa Civilization this problems was not exist. Because by the research and structure of the cities is narrate that they are so concious towards their economics, cleaniness, peoples facilities like bathing, drainage system, and flashable toilets, valuable marketing etc. Today when we go for marketing in malls, shop and all we check the quality, brand of the product same things were seen in Indus Valley Civilization the traders of Indus Valley had their own Seals in there products. people of Indus valley use their money and brain most for the people easy lifestyle for which they invented highly technology as compare to that time. second thing is this at that no other civilization were existed at near the Indus Valley.

TWO MYSTERIES OF HARAPPA OR INDUS VALLEY CIVILISATION

 1. A language is the main part of any Civilization without language we cannot understand anything. For Archaeologist Language is only source to understand any Civilization. Just thing that if  the language of any Civilization were not understood by Archaeologist then how they get information about that so it's  become too big challenge for the Archaeologist to research on Indus Valley Civilization. The language of Indus valley is some logos and totally different we don't know any other by which this will relate so therefore it become a very big mystery that how to crack the code of their language.

2. The second big mystery is  that how was Indus Valley Civilization end? Many theories are given for this , One theory suggest that the river on which this civilization depended, started drying up. This might have been the Saraswati River. Because of which people starts to migrate. Other theories said a dangerous disease were come by which people existence being rapidly decreases like plague a big disease by which at that many people were died and civilization were destroyed in few decades only. Whatever reason behind the existence of this Civilization but one thing is cleared that this Civilization were completely disappered after1600 BC. It was so oldest Civilization. This Civilization were existed at least 5,000 years.
